The Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce has once again hosted an impressive group of 34 Australian executives on an Innovation Trade Mission to Israel.
The mission was led by Simon McKeon AO, Chairman of AMP and CSIRO. Simon is also a former Australian of the Year. The delegation also included, Ian Silk, CEO of Australian Super, Christine Holgate, CEO of Blackmores, EYs Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Sebastien Eckersley-Maslin, and Phil McCabe, CBA GM Corporate Finance and Entrepreneurial Growth Markets. Bill Shorten MP Trade Mission to Israel 

The Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce and the Embassy of Israel are delighted to advise that Minister Bill Shorten MP, Minister for Financial Services and Superannuation; Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations will lead a Trade Mission to Israel from Sunday 29 April - Saturday 5 May, 2012.
The trade mission will attempt to understand how is it that Israel-a country of 7.2 million people, a third of the size of Tasmania, sixty per cent desert, only sixty three years old, with limited natural resources-produces more start-ups than large, peaceful and stable nations like Japan, India, Korea, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia. |

Digital Apllications Trade Mission - March 2010 

The delegation was led by Deena Shiff, Group Managing Director, Telstra Business and comprised senior executives from Telstra, Optus, the National e-Health Transition Authority, Gilbert+Tobin, Church Resources, as well as from Israeli companies in Australia, NICE Systems and Checkpoint.
Spending an intense week in Israel focusing on digital applications and with a clear objective to do deals, the delegation met CEOs from a range of established and early stage Israeli companies all sharing one common element - innovation!
