Cliff Rosenberg, MD Australia, NZ and Southeast Asia, LinkedIn, 12 March 2013
Cliff Rosenberg addressed a Young Business Forum reception with 120 young professionals in the 22 -35 year emographic where he discussed “Leveraging LinkedIn to Build Your Personal and Business Brand”. This event was proudly hosted by DLA Piper.
Cliff is the Managing Director for LinkedIn in Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia. In his role, Cliff’s focus is driving awareness and uptake of LinkedIn’s products, including talent and marketing solutions.
The 21st century has witnessed an explosion of social media platforms. LinkedIn has established itself as the leading professional network. It is the ‘go-to’ tool for individuals to manage their professional identity, connect, gain insights, and find new business or career opportunities. Companies use LinkedIn to hire talent, market their brands and sell more effectively by utilising the power of their own networks. With a worldwide connected community of 200m+ members, the Australian business has embraced LinkedIn – junior and senior executives alike engage LinkedIn to build their business and personal brands.
Cliff has a distinguished career in the digital space spanning more than 20 years, both as an entrepreneur and executive. He serves as a Non-Executive Director at Australia’s leading online restaurant booking platform, Dimmi.com.au; and Nearmap.com, a global leader in the provision of geospatial map technology for business, enterprises and government. He was formerly the managing director of Yahoo! Australia and New Zealand where he was responsible for all aspects of the local operation for more than three years.
Prior to joining Yahoo!, Cliff was the founder and managing director of iTouch Australia and New Zealand, a leading wireless application service provider. He grew the Australian office to one of the largest mobile content and application providers in Australia with key partnerships with companies such as Ninemsn, Yahoo!, Telstra and Vodafone.
