Doron Ben-Meir, Chief Executive Officer, Commercialisation Australia, 9 November 2012


Doron Ben-Meir addressed a private boardroom lunch for 22 senior executives from our small & medium sized business members where he discussed Delivering Innovation  Australia's challenges and Opportunities in a Global Marketplace ". This Executive Boardroom lunch was proudly sponsored by Grant Thornton.

Doron Ben-Meir is Chief Executive Officer of Commercialisation Australia (CA), a unique component of the Federal Governments Industry and Innovation portfolio. CA is an initiative that offers a merit-based assistance program to support and encourage the commercialisation of innovative, intellectual Australian property.

Over the past 20 years Doron has been involved in numerous venture capital organisations, and has been a founder or co-founder of six start-up companies, as well as an investor, investment manager, and/or advisor to several others. Through these activities he has built a substantial network both domestically and internationally.
Doron has extensive experience across various industry sectors. Through his investments and advisory work he has been involved in identifying and assisting innovative companies to commercialise their intellectual property and transition through various stages of business development. Doron has a Bachelor of Science, and a Bachelor of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering (Hons) from Monash University.
