Cameron Clyne, Chief Executive Officer, NAB, 27 August 2012

MAJOR BUSINESS LUNCH

Cameron Clyne addressed a business lunch for 500 business executives where he was engaged in conversation with James Chessell, Deputy Editor, Australian Financial Review on "Customers, Competition and Change; Building the foundations for a stronger future". This Lunch was proudly sponsored by Check Point Software Technologies Ltd and Salmat.

Since January 2009 NAB Group CEO, Cameron Clyne has set out to build NAB's reputation, differentiating it from the pack and challenging the myth that all banks are the same. At the core, Cameron has instilled a strategy built around putting customers at the centre of everything they do and helping them realise their potential. The strategy is working, with NAB continuing to gain market share and recently ranking number one in customer satisfaction for the first time in 12 years.

As one of the nation’s most respected CEOs, Cameron has steered NAB through challenging conditions and continues to deliver strong results for the business. With recent overseas events with some of the world’s largest banks putting the focus back on the banking sector, Cameron gave us his candid outlook for the local and international banking sector, as well as his view on the Australian economy and what we can expect over the coming 12 months.
