Boardroom Lunch

Dr Esti Galili, Director of the Child and Adolescent Unit, Department of Psychiatry, Hadassah University Hospital, Jerusalem addressed a private boardroom lunch hosted in Sydney by Arnold Bloch Leibler around the topic of "Dealing with conflict & trauma from the child’s perspective - the Israel experience".

At the lunch, Dr Galili presented the work of Hadassah in combating adolescent and child Post Traumatic Stress which is prevalent in Israel as a result of the current regional conflict.  Amongst some of our guests at the table were Prof. David Bennett, Head of Adolescent Psychiatry, Westmead Children’s Hospital; Professor Ian Hickie, Executive Director, University of Sydney; Professor Garry Walter, Chair of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, University of Sydney and Dr. Ginni Mansberg - Health Advisor The Hon. Joe Hockey MP, as well as other professionals in the area of Medical Research, Adolescent and Child Psychiatry, community leaders, and Health Department representatives.
