KPMG-AICC INNOVATION SERIES
Tiziana Bianco, Head of Innovation, Commonwealth Bank addressed a private KPMG –AICC Innovation Series Lunch for 25 senior captains of innovation in an interactive discussion where Tiziana explored different models to corporate innovation, considering the challenges and opportunities of each approach, while gaining insight into what is working for Commbank.
This event was the first of a newly created Innovation Series – a collaboration between KPMG and the AICC. The objective of the KPMG – AICC Innovation Series is to bring together thought leaders and influential people within the innovation and entrepreneurial space, allowing KPMG and the AICC to demonstrate leadership where it really matters.

The CBA’s Innovation Lab is a cutting edge space designed to introduce clients and staff to it’s innovation process. It allows visitors to explore the Bank's latest products, while also providing the tools to work together and generate the next generation of products.
Tiziana’s role is to best position the Group’s innovative capability, products and services for consumer, business and institutional clients. This includes the incubation of new ideas, the experimentation of different business models and technologies and the testing of new concepts through working with and alongside the innovation ecosystem.
In addition to helping drive business performance and product innovation, Tiziana and her team work closely with the sales and product teams to embed core innovation capabilities and continue to build understanding of CommBank’s successful innovation story. This is done through the demonstration of it’s commitment to creating and embedding the capability required to have a strong innovative culture.
Since joining the Commonwealth Bank in 2008, Tiziana has held a variety of roles and has contributed to strategic initiatives, projects, product development and launches across the organisation.
Previously, Tiziana was a management consultant at Capgemini Australia, with primary expertise in large scale transformational programmes, from strategy through to implementation within the financial services, retail and telecommunication sectors. Prior to moving to Australia, Tiziana spent time at ING DIRECT, Canada with a predominate focus on customer experience initiatives.
