Cr Adrian Schrinner, Deputy Mayor, Brisbane City Council

1757380422_Cr_Schrinner_3_(3).jpgAdrian Schrinner is the Deputy Mayor of Brisbane and the Chairman of the City’s Public and Active Transport Committee with special responsibility for Brisbane Metro. He has served as the local Councillor for the Ward of Chandler in Brisbane’s south eastern suburbs since 2005.  Prior to the last Election, Cr Schrinner served as the Chairman of the Infrastructure Committee, Adrian was responsible for overseeing the management of more than $9 billion in city assets, including 5,700km of roads, 900 sets of traffic signals, more than 500 bridges and 2,000 culverts.

Harvey Lister, Chairman and Chief Executive, AEG Ogden

Harvey Lister

Harvey Lister commenced his career in the music industry in Brisbane with radio station 4IP in the early 1970’s, and in 1975 launched a concert and event business titled Tour Promotions. During the past 40 years, Mr Lister, with business partner Mr Rod Pilbeam, has been involved in the presentation and management of events spanning all forms of sport, the arts, conventions and exhibitions, concerts and general entertainment and has a wealth of knowledge and practical experience in the design and operation of major public assembly facilities, the events they host, and of the tourism and leisure industries generally.

Harvey and AEG Ogden are partnering with the Queensland Government on a business case for the delivery of a 17,000 seat world class Brisbane Live Entertainment Arena as part of Cross River Rail’s Roma St redevelopment.

Graeme Newton, Chief Executive Officer, Cross River Rail Delivery Authority (CRRDA)  

Graeme NewtonMr Graeme Newton has more than 25 years’ experience in the infrastructure sector. In the past 15 years he has led large-scale, high profile and complex infrastructure projects within the private and public sector, with a strategic and delivery-oriented approach as a senior executive leading billions of dollars’ worth of projects.

His vast experience and expertise in the industry has seen him awarded with the National Award for Excellence and the QUT Outstanding Alumni Award. Graeme was appointed by the Premier of Queensland in 2011 as the first CEO of the Queensland Reconstruction Authority.

Alison Smith, MBA, GAICD, General Manager Corporate Affairs, Queensland, The Start Entertainment Group

1202566792_Alison_Smith_corporate_photo_(002).jpgAlison Smith has been with The Star Entertainment Group since mid-2015. Her role covers government, industry and media relations for the group’s Treasury Brisbane, Star Gold Coast, Sheraton Grand Mirage Gold Coast and Queen’s Wharf Brisbane.

She is a senior media and corporate relations executive with experience at Rio Tinto’s coal and uranium businesses in Australia, Africa and Canada. Alison has worked in the public and private sectors in ICT, transport, energy, police and corrective services. In 2014 she was the project manager of an international marketing campaign for the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Brisbane.

During his tenure as CEO of Brisbane’s economic development organisation Brisbane Marketing (2008 - 2017), some of his team’s achievements included establishing Brisbane Australia’s new world city positioning globally, delivering $4billion economic outcomes, creating Brisbane’s Digital Strategy including The Capital innovation hub and responsible for Brisbane’s G20 leveraging strategy.
