The AICC(WA) and Edith Cowan University Annual Executive Lunch

featuring

Emeritus Professor Tracey Horton AO, Non-Executive Chairman, Navitas

Key Note Address:

"The future of education"

An increasing proportion of the world’s population are finishing high school and progress to higher education. While some aspects of education delivery have changed with technology, most education processes and structures remain similar today to when our grandparents were at school.

With the World Economic Forum predicting more digital progress in the next ten years than has been witnessed in the last 50 years, how will education prepare our next generation to discover their potential and develop their skills to stay ahead of this pace of change?

Tracey will be talking about the evolution of education, imagining its future and discussing the role that education could play in the Australian and Western Australian economies.

Tracey is the Chairman for Navitas Limited and Chairman and Non-Executive Director of various ASX companies, Government bodies and not-for-profit organisations.

Tracey has extensive international business and education experience, with her most recent executive role as Dean of The University of Western Australian Business School, where she was awarded the life-time title of Emeritus Professor.

Tracey was recognised for distinguished service to business and business education and appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia in 2017.
